AudioInflux began in October of 2007 as a studio project, but it has manifested into a full-scale live experience featuring MdotCoop (MC), George Miller (guitar/vocals), Chris English (drums/vocals), Kyle Uschold (bass) and Tony Gallicchio (keys). AudioInflux: Jazz infused funk wrapped in soul only begins to describe this Rochester groove band. AudioInflux is breaking their name across the region as one of the hottest and fastest rising acts touring today. The mix of funk, soul, jam, reggae, in conjunction with songs featuring the voice of mdot, Chris, Tony, or a combination makes for a set so dynamic you never know what to expect. AudioInflux draw from a large collection of music history and connections. Tony Galliccio is a musician of his own with a solo project, performing and recording with his band Funknut and has been in the music business a long time. He’s shared the stage with the temptations, the four tops, Soulive, KRS One and Eve 6. Chris English come from a family of music and went to school of the arts in Rochester. Chris has traveled and lived in different cities playing with different bands. Bobby Blue Blend, Jimmy Herring, Charlie Hunter, Corky Jones, and Buddy Guy are some of the talent that Chris has shared staged with. George and Kyle have played with different bands growing up and George also runs a successful guitar teaching business. This band is driven to keep people dancing with the realest soulful funk on the live circuit. Their style draws from so any genres providing a multi-flavored musical experience that’s always laced with the heavy funk feel. The band made their bones as a four piece for a couple of years before featured artist MdotCoop became the fifth regular member. AudioInflux released their first album in 2010 with great success. The EP will be ready by the end of 2012. Meanwhile, AudioInflux's reach grows as they travel to new venues in New York, Vermont, Pennsylvania, Ohio and more. Audioinflux has played with acts such as Sim Redmond, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, The Word, and Alan Evans Trio.
